While Astral Initiation is provided for those who do not live close enough to a temple to attend their initiation in person, prospective initates of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn who live within 120 miles of any temple are required to attend their initiation physically. Our order has a growing number of temples, and perhaps there will be a day when everyone will live close enough to a temple to easily attend their initiation physically.

All online applications for membership are currently handled by the Grand Temple of Isis, so if you are planning to attend your initiation at the Temple of Ptah, please make a note on your application.
